Rose Bundle from Bangkok Flower Market

Traffic is prolific in Thailand. In certain parts, especially in the markets, pedestrian, motor scooter and bicycle traffic remains very congested making it almost impossible to travel in an automobile at any speed. My guide, Sawang, decided to make my job a little easier, and more frightening, by parking his car and demonstrating his skills on the motor scooter. Whipping in and out of parked cars, between bikes and around people, I was able to get a number of shots that tell the real story of Thailand's flower markets...the hustle and bustle of the people and the serene beauty of the flowers.
