Little Girls in the Dixon Garden |
| One year my family and I spent Easter Sunday afternoon at the Dixon Gallery and Gardens, a historical pillar of the arts in Memphis, TN. Every year, the Dixon hosts a grandiose Easter egg hunt and picnic for children and their parents, grandparents, godparents and any other adoring relatives. Hundreds of children run throughout the beautiful grounds in their Sunday best, eagerly searching for the pastel treasures. My daughter Taylor who was 3 and her cousin Caitlin, 2 1/2, decided to venture beyond the bridge to an "unspoiled" area in hopes of finding the more unexpected hiding places. I was fortunate to catch this shot just before they took off running to look among the dogwood trees, azalea bushes and tulips. |
